Who is an artist? - Is there any art found in Music nowadays?
We talk of artists everywhere we go and many people have given themselves
this name. So, who is an artist and what makes up an artist? This is what we
are going to discuss today and by the end of it all you are going to understand
whether the guy you have been calling an artist is really one. Well, an artist
is someone who creates art. This does have to be a one area thing but art in
all different ways. This may be in drawing and coming up with designs, in
music, in creating and in many other ways which you can list down.
Today we are going to focus on music art or art in music. This is what makes a musician get a title of artist. How you bring up the lyrics and create and design it to bring the final product is what qualifies you to be an artist. Today in Kenya we have thousands of people who are carrying this name but the final product of their art is very poor or borrowed. This makes me wonder whether such a person deserves the title artists.
Many people have been copying art from others maybe who are in the country and those who are outside country. Most people like especially copying artists from the west. And so we cannot say that such a person is worthy the title artist. What such a person should consider doing is either coming up with an original stuff in the art industry or customize and upgrade the ones which are already available in the market. If in case such a guy happens to upgrade a certain art and bring it in a better and attractive way than the original one then we can say that he is an artist. What is there nowadays is copy and pasting without minding what art is all about
The same thing happens when it comes to dressing, we find many artist copying each other and this doesn't show any creativity in the whole art world. What such a person should choose to do is get down and think artically what he or she should wear and standout from others. Now, to all artists out there it is important to bring out your own art in the industry and let it show the artistic character in it and be original.
