is one industry which parents fear their children joining is entertainment
industry leave a lone national security where death is said to be instant. But
the biggest question is why is it like that? Well, this is impacted in a life
of people when they are young and most people grow knowing that they is
negativity while other dare to join it. We have heard of many cases where
parent threaten to disown their children even at this age of 21 century if in
case they join this industry.
It is highly feared and unless a parent or
member of the family has been there before then it will be hard for most parents
to allow their children join no matter how they want to see their success.
Actually most people who join the industry are pushed by a passion to do
something unique. Many talents and dreams have been killed by the same fact and
it has cost a lot of people their lives and purpose under the sun.

greatest issue which has brought a lot of negativity and fought entertainment
industry across the globe is its impact to the society. The thing is there are
people who are in the industry with a sole purpose of reaching to others in a
positive way while others are there with a different agenda which we are seeing
and it is what is causing people to see a plague in entertainment industry.
They are people who believe that people who are in this industry are
prostitutes and they don’t care of anything except money and nothing else.
Sure we
have seen such people who entertain while they are naked; when they are doing
all sorts of things thereby bringing shame to the entertainment industry in
Kenya. These are things which are displayed on internet, televisions, magazines
and in all forms of media and when people see it there is no doubt most they will
not be happy about it while others don’t actually care about it. On the other
hand some feel that this is the right kind of entertainment which we should all
have.
This
doesn’t have anything to do with being very conservative or being a hyper person.
The effect to the society is what matters. In real sense if all people are like what some
of our entertainers do then we would all get spoiled and go crazy.
Now,
there is yet another side of entertainment in Kenya which we can focus on. This
is pure entertainment which is bringing a positive impact to every society and this
is what people should actually embrace. This is not only found in gospel scenes
but also by people who have a positive agenda in what they do. If people could
focus on bringing a positive impact in the society through entertainment
industry in Kenya and everywhere else then no one would complain of it and it
will kill the whole mind of negativity which is there.
The
biggest question which you may ask yourself is whether this negativity will
end. Well, we cannot predict but if a person can value him or herself and have self
love there is no way they would do such crazy things in any way. What people
need to do especially those who are in entertainment industry is get their mind
and sit down alone to consider what they do and how it has helped the people
who they entertain. Another thing is that they should think of their personal
picture because even if it is not the people’s business it is theirs. And
finally this will clear the negative picture which is being displayed in
entertainment industry in Kenya.
